Brief intro to Edinburgh

In Edinburgh, Caledonia Youth offers free sexual health services for all young people up to and including the age of 24 years via clinical, counselling and education sessions. Our drop-in confidential service is a nurse led one-stop shop with a doctor and qualified counsellor (by appointment) also on site where clients can receive the following -
  • Condoms.
  • Relationship Counselling.
  • Contraception.
  • Someone to talk to.
  • Emergency Contraception.
  • Specific work with under 16s.
  • Pregnancy Testing.
  • Infection Advice.
  • Pregnancy Counselling.
  • Tailor-made education & information sessions.

Education Services
Our experienced clinical staff can provide tailor made education sessions in both clinical and education settings to young people on their own or in groups. We also provide education sessions to professionals who work with young people.

Our education sessions are particularly geared to the needs of young people with special needs or those in residential or foster care. Education sessions can be provided on site at our branch or on an outreach basis. Please contact staff for further information.

Counselling Service
Our trained counsellor provides a confidential service for all young people including the under 16s. Issues dealt with include -
